Penguin : sport, chic and the 50’s
The story of Penguin began with the meeting of Abbot Peder and a penguin. He bought the Penguin from a taxidermist on a street corner, and then Abbot took the Penguin on a flight, where a charming flight attendant tied a tie around his neck. Once he returned to his native Minneapolis and with this unusual experience fresh in his mind, Abbot designed a chic and slightly sporty brand named Penguin. Worn by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and other '50s celebrities, today the brand has same chic and retro style that first made it a success.
